I took a 4 day retreat with a teacher from Mumbai, Firoozza. Her teachings are a true delight, her delivery of complex subjects are made more accessible, and she triggers the desire to learn and study until I meet her again….The retreat was held at the Mount Madonna center in the Santa Cruz mountains, it is an intentional community living center created by Baba Hari Dass. A place where it can be interesting to come to for a weekend outside of a specific retreat. Mount Madonna
Back from Mexico, I taught a small group of dedicated students. It was my second time back in Conchas Chinas, PV and another wonderful experience! Classes resume tomorrow. Satori students, the Monday class is discontinued and the Wednesday class is part of a 6-class series for continuing Iyengar students, first class is this Wednesday!

Let me know ASAP, typically Friday mornings at 9am or Thursdays or Mondays at 5pm work. $100 for 4 classes, we need 4 students to commit to the 4 classes (1 class per week) to start the class. Upcoming Changes in 2018! My regular weekly classes at Satori Yoga Studio will end at the end of January. It was a pleasure to work with Andrea, and a group of wonderful teachers there; and of course with all of you who I met in classes over the years! I look forward to seeing you at other venues!
I will be concentrating my time on: private and semi-private sessions, my weekly classes at the Iyengar yoga Institute & Bay Club & Olympic Club and my yoga trips in France and Mexico. This year, I will be busy working with students on becoming a Scoliosis Yoga Certified Trainer, as well as getting Certified in Iyengar Yoga Therapeutics in L.A.
Mark your calendars for workshops at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in 2018:
Full weekend: August 3-5: From Movement to Steadiness: Surya Namaskarasana to Padmasana
Afternoon Workshop: August 27: Learning to love Forward Extensions
