This workshop is held at Satori Yoga Studio, on Saturday June 16th at 10:30am- 12:30pm. Pre-registration required before June 15th @ 6pm.
I will be teaching Betty Roi’s classes the following Tuesdays at 6:45am: June 5th,12th,19th,26th and July 3rd and also two Fridays at 6:30am on June 22nd and 29th. (You need to be a member at the Bay Club to attend these classes)
Yoga brings mental, nervous and physical relief during women’s menstrual cycles and more importantly keeps the endocrine system healthy. Most women are familiar with symptoms such as physical fatigue, joint and back pain, irritability, shortness of temper, depression etc…before, during and after menstruation. However many women are unfamiliar with how to synchronize their yoga practice to that “time of the month”. I will teach this two-hour workshop at Satori Yoga Studio.
Long hours in front of a computer, hectic work schedules & life styles, emotional stress … often create chronic shoulder tension contributing to neck and upper back problems. In this workshop we will explore ways to safely create stability and flexibility in the shoulder area and in the upper back to release tension and vulnerability in the neck. This workshop is ideal for anyone suffering from tight shoulders, upper back or neck. Beginners are welcome. This workshop is not appropriate for people with acute injuries. $30 in advance/ $40 day of workshop.
